About Infinity Dash

The story behind the speed, the code behind the chaos.

The Concept: Escape the Grid

Infinity Dash throws you into a perpetually failing digital simulation known only as "The Grid." You are a rogue data packet, desperate to find the exit node before the system's defensive algorithms catch up. The world around you is constantly corrupted, spawning obstacles—spikes, barriers, and gaps—designed to terminate unauthorized programs (you!).

The game is a tribute to classic 8-bit platformers blended with modern retro-futuristic neon aesthetics. Your mission is simple: run forever, survive the code, and collect the fragments of power (coins) left by previous failed escape attempts.

Detailed Mechanics

  • Dynamic Obstacle Generation

Obstacles are generated procedurally based on your current speed and difficulty level, ensuring no two runs are ever the same.

  • Parallax Scrolling

Three layers of background scenery scroll at different speeds, creating a believable sense of depth and extreme velocity as you dash through the neon city.

  • Progressive Difficulty

The game speed increases seamlessly every 100 meters, requiring split-second decisions and increasingly precise jumps.

  • Score Persistence

Your highest score is saved locally using LocalStorage, allowing you to compete against your best run every time you play.
